On one blog I've found this :

"TRICK FOR INTERNET EXPLORER:

1. Run 'regedit.exe'
2. Find key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\5.0\User Agent
(if it doesn't exsist you should create it)
3. Go to->
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE – SOFTWARE – Microsoft – Windows – CurrentVersion - Internet Settings - 5.0 - User Agent
there should be value: "default". Right ckick on it, choose "modify" and write:
Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1; SV1; .NET CLR 1.1.4322; FDM; Alexa Toolbar)
then OK.
That's all. It works. You don't have to install any tollbars or other s**t.

TRICK FOR FIREFOX:

1. Run your browser
2. Write adress: 'about:config' and press 'ENTER'
3. In the list below right click any line and choose 'add...-> string'
4. In first window write:
general.useragent.override
and click OK
5. In second window write:
Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1; SV1; .NET CLR 1.1.4322; FDM; Alexa Toolbar)
then click OK.
6. Restart browser.
7. Well done!

I use FIREFOX and it works. I don't know anything about other browsers. "

AND IT WORKS !!!!!

as a firefox user, i am happy to say this works!. However, there may be unwanted consequences of showing the world that you are using an agent with alexa toolbar, which i do not know yet. I am being a bit paranoid right now, but only the name "Alexa" is enough to freak me out Smiley I dont want to even talk about "toolbar" Cheesy

Edit:
And here is the first complication:

with the above about:config change, you are telling google that you are running an unsafe browser, which restricts your use of Gmail only to HTML format. You can also go around it by using
http://mail.google.com/gmail?nocheckbrowser
address for gmail, but as you will see the convenience goes down significantly.

however, i must say that this is a very good idea. I did not think of useragent version to be checked by megaupload.
