If you should chose only 3 favorites in prog, what would they be?

My 3 favorites...

first i remind them at the moment:

kaleidoscope (usa)
john berberian (armenia)
maneige (quebec)

but i must say only 1 album of kaleidoscope may be called progressive
and only 2 of berberian may be called progresive (fusion)..
always a hard question it is

to select 3 from 300 great and 30 brilliant bands, hmmm.... Tomorrow my answer would be different, but today it's:

Caravan
Traffic

ow, that one is tough...

Porcupine Tree
Jethro Tull
Opeth

... I think... as many of you have stated, favourites change all the time, heh
I think I'm in sort of a heavy period now, half a year ago, Genesis, Emerson Lake and Palmer etc would have topped my list.

Currently, I'm pretty sure it's Univers Zéro, Dün and Present, in that order. But it could be something completely different by tomorrow.

Its difficult to pick 3 favourites. Every week or so i will change what im listening to. What im playing at the moment is

Captain Beyond
Atomic Rooster
2066 and Then.

The trouble is that these bands only have about 10 albums between them. If i was to choose 3 sets of albums it would be

Pink Floyd
King Crimson
Frank Zappa.

That would keep me going for a good few weeks, getting through all their albums!
